The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project \u201cFrom Crisis to Coordination? V4 Migration Strategies and Scenarios\u201d aims to present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) a comparative analysis of policy and civil society responses at national, regional, and local levels in the Visegrad (V4) countries \u2014 Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary – from 2015 to the forced migration from Ukraine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) policy scenarios for further migration flows to the V4 countries, especially from Eastern Europe and Asia, and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3) recommendations for migration and integration management for key stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It combines desk research, statistical data analysis, and qualitative interviews with over experts and policymakers on the national, regional, and local levels in the light of recent forced migration from Ukraine. The research will explore the effectiveness of migration policies, the role of civil society, and the socio-economic impacts of migration, with a special focus on vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project runs from October 2025 to March 2027 and is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
